Consecutive Interpreting Processes
Consecutive interpreting processes generally involve interpreters sitting next to the speakers or standing with them, carefully listening to what the speakers say, and then repeating everything the speakers said in the other language.
Consecutive Interpreting for Speakers' Speeches
In general, our office works on consecutive interpreting processes by taking notes while speakers are talking, to ensure the consecutive interpretation is healthier and more accurate. However, it should be known today that consecutive interpreting processes have now been replaced by simultaneous interpreting. Although the job of simultaneous interpreters in these stages is more difficult and requires more effort than consecutive interpreters, time is saved, and mutual understanding is achieved in shorter periods.
