Why Do Babies Cry the Same Way?

A Mother Understands Her Child Best

Some children are well-behaved from the moment they are born; they eat what you give them, sleep when you put them to sleep, lie down when you tell them to lie down, and get up when you tell them to get up. This type of child is not highly valued, and there is usually an underlying problem. Then there are others who cry constantly, don't eat, don't sleep, and have no regular sleep pattern. These are difficult children or children who adapt slowly. There is a positive correlation between intense crying and intellectual disability. It's a severe, disturbing cry. Apart from these, normal baby crying is typical. The intensity of their cries is generally the same. So why do babies cry this way? Because if they cried in a disturbing way, the parents couldn't bear it; if they cried less, meaning their crying didn't disturb them, then the parents wouldn't pay attention. A child cries at a level that ensures their needs are met.

A Child Gains Development Through Crying

A mother understands her child best. This is because she spends more time with the child than the father, and the mother provides the nourishment, which is a crucial factor in the child's bonding. If the father provided this, the child would bond with the father in the same way. The reason a child cries also varies according to the type of cry. A mother knows why her child is crying; however, even the same mother might not know why another child is crying. Generally, a child gains development through crying, but after a while, when they start talking, they need to continue expressing themselves through talking or gestures. If a child is two years old and still gets their wishes met by crying, they become behaviorally conditioned to cry. This is because every time they cry, their wishes are fulfilled. Unfortunately, many mothers fulfill their crying child's wishes because they are disturbed by the sound. This is a very unhealthy behavior.
