What Are the Requirements for Applying for a Home Loan?
The two most important conditions for applying for housing are that the person wishing to apply must be over 18 years of age and have a verifiable monthly income. While anyone who meets these two conditions has the right to fill out a home loan application form, it is at the bank's discretion whether this application will be approved or not.
Why Was My Home Loan Application Rejected?
The general reason for banks rejecting loan applications is that the ratio between the monthly installment amount to be paid and the monthly income amount is too high. In other words, as the loan amount drawn increases, the verifiable monthly income amount must also increase. Loan approval is also not given in situations such as previous payment problems with banks, or the appraisal value of the property for which a loan is desired not meeting the requested loan amount.
