Artificial Turf Application Examples
Basic Features
Since natural grass is difficult and expensive to maintain, artificial turf applications are made in many areas today. The application, carried out with a floor covering material called synthetic turf carpet, is used for landscaping purposes to create large green areas. You can find application examples on the congrass.com page.
How to Apply
Synthetic turf carpet looks the same as natural grass. Its purpose of use is the same; it is used for landscaping and sports purposes. The pile height of carpets used for sports purposes is determined by the federation of the relevant sport branch, and the carpets are produced at this height and applied to the ground. It is produced with fibrillated or monofilament green yarn. In carpets applied for decorative purposes, yellow color is also used in addition to light and dark green. It is woven on a machine called a tufting machine. A computerized machine performs weaving at the desired pile height. After the weaving process, the base of the carpet is coated with latex to make it more durable. Two methods are used in synthetic turf carpet application; standard and shockpad system synthetic turf carpet application. Both applications offer the desired comfort and convenience on the ground, with slight differences in application. First, drainage pipes are laid, and gravel filling is done. In the standard method, after the felt is laid, the carpet is laid on top of the sliss sand and SBR granule filling material. In the shockpad system, after asphalt or concrete is applied over the gravel filling, the shockpad is applied. For information, you can visit the safyayi page.
