A 16-year-old teenager, who wanted to play music for his grandfather with the guitar he received as a New Year's gift from his father, lost his life by getting an electric shock. As it is known, electric guitars are used with accessories such as amplifiers to get a higher sound output, and a connection is established to these accessories via the jack on the guitar.

Caution While Using Electric Guitar!

While it will be understood whether the problem originated from the guitar or the accessories as a result of the examinations, electric guitar instructors, especially when buying a second-hand electric guitar, emphasize that caution should be exercised, that expert technical services should be consulted for minor malfunctions, and that interventions alone by opening it at home should be avoided. In addition to all these, the socket into which the guitar is plugged is as important as the guitar itself, and it must be used with a grounded socket.
