Traffic Rules and Life

Pedestrians Have Priority

As a result of the city life we live, we have all been in or in close proximity to traffic many times every day. In all these situations, we have certain responsibilities, either as pedestrians or as motorized vehicle drivers. In developed societies, this order is very well established, and everyone knows their rights. Likewise, everyone respects each other's rights. There is a particular problem in our country regarding pedestrian rights. Drivers tend to ignore pedestrian rights. Pedestrian crossings seem to have no authority whatsoever.

Pedestrian Crossings and Pedestrian Rights

Apart from traffic lights, there are unmarked pedestrian crossings in front of schools and at some crossing points. Here, pedestrians always have priority. Just like a pedestrian signal at a traffic light, drivers must stop and yield to pedestrians as soon as a pedestrian steps onto these lines. We need to make an effort to establish this culture and adhere to rights.
